If we are not taking care of our young ones by living/leading by example, they will not have a chance. I don't have any children of my own, but I try to be an example to any child that crosses my path. Unfortunately, I work with mothers as young as 12 (need I say more), but I continue the encouragement because we cannot give up. You are such the inspiration and I feel like you were put in my path for a reason as I try to figure out what the next step is for me is.

MichelleAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5578256989483505414.post-66550598415495076152011-02-17T13:07:18.287-08:002011-02-17T13:07:18.287-08:00It is unfortunate that our society has a a growing...It is unfortunate that our society has a a growing epidemic of childhood obesity, which is inducive of a lot of juvenile diabetes I would venture to say (Im no expert). I saw an unsual site the other day-children outside playing!! It is very sad not to see this anymore.

The best thing for parents,Aunts and Uncles, siblings..what have you, can do for our babies is practice what you preach! You don't want your kids lying, stealing, cheating...etc... then live a virtuous life as an example to your children. Even if we think they aren't watching...somebody is.
Thanks Megan, what a bunch of lucky students in Atlanta GA today : )

-Heidihighdyankeehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04652548550787243342noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5578256989483505414.post-52975064262882382492011-02-17T11:12:59.998-08:002011-02-17T11:12:59.998-08:00I concur. I have always spoken candidly with him.

Being transparent with your children and others is paramount to establishing and maintaining relationships.

Thanks for being transparent Megan.

Arbysag SmithAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
