Megan McGlover hails from the curvaceous peaks of southern California. Raised under strict tutelage, she began her Oratorical speaking career at the age of three. Since that tender age she has been honored at an array of historical events. Speaking engagements include, an honored guest at the Riverside Community College, numerous Martin Luther King celebrations, NAACP ceremony honoring Dick Gregory among so many others. She has been awarded the “Distinctive Person of the Year” award by the NAACP, First place award for the National Youth Congress, to name a few, as well as being featured in several newspapers. For as long as Megan could speak she has mesmerized young and old alike with her distinctive tone and impressive memory. Her acting career is also satiated.
Over the years she has developed a keen sense of high spirited humor. Along with her extraordinary focus, she has merged the two into pure delight. Currently, while writing her first book, Megan is sought out by many to be the “spirit lifter” and “comedic genius” as motivational speaker and poet.
Megan, I just love your weather forecast. I am a transplant from south of Buffalo, Ny and moved here to get away from the snow, that is to Alabama. I have been really happy here until this very year. SNOW GO AWAY...and my son moved to California for pharamcy school and now he brags about the weather out there. I absolutely told him to "SHUT UP". Of course that just edges him further. You would surely have been my best friend as you could keep me laughing. I need laughter right now and you have done it. Keep up the great work.
Caught Former Atlanta Mayor & U.N. Ambassador Andrew Young, one of several African American leaders the news queried about school v. "off" for MLK day. All reluctantly conceded the need to make up days, but suggested MLK only curriculum for that day. in the true spirit of everything Dr. King stood for, Andy Young answered, "I don't think Martin would object to ANYBODY going to school!" GREAT answer! Your answer topped his! I'm a permanent fan.... vgward@aol.com
I caught your weather forecast through a friend's post on Facebook. I must say that I LOVE your report and I have laughed my head off( not really)!!!!! PLEASE post more !! YOU ARE SO VERY TALENTED.........and FUN!!
I used to live in Atlanta (am from near Buffalo originally)...and apparently left at the right time (5 years ago)...for California. I can attest to everything in your January "weather reports" about both places to be The Truth, The Whole Truth, and nothing but The Truth...which of course, is what helps make them so funny. :-)
I think they (the weather reports) are going viral on Facebook (how many views does it take to be considered 'viral?'). Atlanta's weather--and your reports of it--could be your ticket. I hope so!! They and you are great!
You are one very funny lady!!! I just loved your weather report. You are a breathe of fresh "cold" air!! Hope you just keep posting these awesome reports. Thanks for the laugh!!
I have laughed until I cried watching the Jan 11 & 17th reports, and everybody I've showed them to has done the same thing. Keep them coming AND your unique view of everything from MLK day to Global Warming!
