A wonderful supporter and friend of mine said this on his FB post, (I'm summarizing), "Make today the first day to end the cycles... come into a new being." POWERFUL! Let today be the day that you say, "no more" to generational curses (if you believe in curses), "no more" to ongoing internal turmoil, "no more" to mistreating yourself because you're used to the way it feels... "NO MORE" to the relentless selfishness and greed that ruled in our lives and the lives of those closest to us!
Today we begin anew. Those horrible thought patterns, those rediculous notions, self amputations must stop TODAY! You are in control of the rest of your life, as soon as you accept that responsibility. I realized a while back that I was afraid of change. I wanted it desperately, but was so unsure of what that change would be and how it would feel that I constantly sabotaged my own growth. Well finally pain's consistency became overwhelming and I jumped head-first into the unknown space of change. While I have no regrets, NO REGRETS, I would be lieing if I said it wasn't challenging and downright hard at times. BUT it is extremely PEACEFUL! Without change there is no progress... so let's move forward, shall we?
It's mid-day, so most of us have already been faced with ARGH (LOL)... so take a breath and breathe - it's almost over. MUAH!

I hope you will write more about HOW you were able to overcome the fear & jump in...& how you determined which dive to take first. Great post.
ReplyDeleteHi Megan! I truly enjoy your "weather" reports, bur I really enjoy hearing what your heart has to say on your blogs. However, I feel today that you might be trying to please EVERYONE in those writings. You were right on talking about today is the first day of ending cycles.....breaking generational curses. Then you said "if you believe in curses". Girl, you should not worry what one thinks or does not think about your writings. God has placed a powerful tool in the form of a gift called writing and speaking in your life. Use it and don't appologize nor shy away from it! I love the energy and strength that you give others in it. Press forward and type what is truth......it shall set you free!!!
ReplyDeleteThis is so true, I went to a bible study that spoke on this topic. Great to be reminded. Thank you for sharing.
ReplyDeleteSo true. It seems that so many things that we 'put up' with or continue doing, or won't do, is simply because of fear. It's so hard to push through that wall, because the unknown lies on the other side. Once we start chipping away at that wall, it slowly starts to crumble away. Thank you Lord, that pile of rubble is behind me.
ReplyDelete@Ashley-Right on! Never apologize for saying what you think...it's your blog anyway Megan! LOL : )
HiMegan. First let me say that I love your "weather reports" and you have a gift. About your post: fear of change can be extremely paralyzing, but so freeing once one has gotten over the hurdle. MUAH back at ya!
ReplyDelete@pj95 I most certainly will. Since I'm speaking to myself as well in these posts so many things strike my soul as well. So I will, and thank you for supporting. @ashley thank you for your confidence in me, and support. I write, as you stated, for the expression of my Spirit... I think that "if you believe in curses" was more for me then anyone else. I'm not sure if I do or not. :0) But thank you for reminding me to always be free. :0) @Christine, Thank You! @highdyankee Fear can and usually does ruin the very joy of life. and thank you too.
ReplyDelete@Anonymous... YES!
MUAH to you ALL
