Wasted T’s

A friend of mine said, “Potential means you’re not doing anything now.”- NL Hamilton. When I heard this I nearly collapsed! We all have potential but what are we doing with it? Each one of us possesses a gift(s), that we are not taping into, using or developing. We are wasting our time, talent, and treasures.

I believe passion drives the soul, it gets you up in the morning, it transforms the negative into the positive because we are focused on the goal, not the strife. Faith (God’s love for us) invested deeply into that which we are passionate about will evolutionalize the very core of your world. When you thrust forward in confidence and courage, you can’t loose.

Let’s see our potential as tangible reality, not something we could be.

I believe in your belief in YOU.

MUAH! Are you having a good day? You should be :0)

  1. As a teacher I see a lot of potential and totally agree with the openning phrase and your assessment concerning potential. If only we could all act on our "tangible reality" Thank you for your input!

  2. I had to find a way to "find" you after I watched your ATL weather updates on YouTube, so I googled you and found your blog! You are seriously talented and absolutely hilarious!! I've posted both your videos on my Facebook page and people are laughing hysterically. I grew up in the Midwest, but have lived in Ga for the past 14 years and all
of my Midwestern friends make fun of us Southerners and the way we react to the weather. You just made it hysterical!
I hope I get the privilege of meeting you in person someday:)
Keep the you tube videos coming!!!

  3. I am a teacher and I get so frustrated at some of my kids who have so much POTENTIAL but won't do ANYTHING in the classroom.

  4. I too stumbled upon you through the YouTube video. I am also a teacher who has enjoyed reflecting on some of your posts.
God is doing great things through you. Thank you for sharing your gift with others.

  5. I think one reason why so much potential is wasted is that so many children today are not encouraged, whether by their parent(s) or other adult figures in their life. I think you are a very special person and you would be of great service if you could explain in one of your youtube vids how you were inspired. What adult figures in your life gave you encouragement.

I see great 'potential' in you. There are precious few people in this world who have the elegance and street smarts that you possess. You were born to lead... so be a leader.

  6. Dear Megan,
My sister-in-law has posted two of your videos on her Facebook account. The first one I saw was the "Cold in Atlanta" vid, the second one is your motivational speech "Del Rose" is on the podium. Both are polished and wonderful to watch. It's awesome to see people who are using the talents God gave them. Please continue what you are doing! Blessing to you. You can read about me, I, too, am a writer and try to encourage others to overcome their circumstances. I say be THE EXAMPLE of "She came from that...but did this!" Plugged in to the powercord of God..we will do it! "downhomedixy@blogspot.com"
