IT’s Purpose

In my opinion to accept something is to acknowledge IT and appreciate IT for what it is. It doesn’t mean you “agree” with it, but you can see IT’s reason, grasp the experience and arrive at a greater self from IT’s existence.

IT can be anything; a person (friend or foe, lover, spouse), a job, drama, personal issues (weight, attitude, mindset)… the list goes on. These ITS are in our lives for reasons. But if we’re constantly fighting against IT because we don’t agree, don’t want to be rational, don’t feel the need to stop and listen… we will never find out IT’s purpose in our lives – therefore never at peace.

Ok let me say it this way. For example you have a friend who is drama-filled 99% of the time. She has 99 problems and common sense is not one of them. BUT you remain her friend. There is a reason (universal reason) for this. It could be a number of things; 1. You are developing patience. 2. There is a level of drama in your life that she reflects. 3. There is a lesson in it for her (from you). 4. God is punishing you. LOLOLOL (seriously I don’t believe in this at all!). Instead of being overwhelmed by the current situations we’re in, we should accept them in the arms of energetic love which transforms the whole reception process. (let’s read that again… Oh I liked that :0) Once we let go of our defensive mechanisms, we can then see things multi-dimensionally (I think I just made that word up, but you get me, right?) ALL of this however does not mean that we don’t make changes to better our lives! But how can we make change without knowing what or why we’re changing in the first place? DEEP!

I think this is one of the definitions of God looks at the heart. He sees things from every possible angle – like the lesson before the trail.

Oh it feels good this morning…. Is it because it’s Thursday!?! Come on now!

Good Morning and “Oh Happy Day” MUAH!

  1. Hi Megan, and thanks for this message on my Birthday!! Your insights are right on the money as far as I'm concerned, and when you talk about resisting "IT", it reminds of the truth : "what you resist persists". In fact just letting life flow over you can make things so much easier sometimes. Even when they're issues that seem to be too much to take, just taking a deep breath and the next step is often all that is necessary. Thanks for being there and spreading the light!! xoxoxDan

  2. Beautiful, my friend!

    One concern:

"...God looks at the heart. He sees things from every possible angle..."

Yes, He looks at all of our hearts. Yet the only angles He sees things from are LOVE and TRUTH. He's not giving us the benefit of the doubt; He's offering us the benefit of grace by the sacrifice of His Son for the pardon of our sin.

I know you know this, Sister. I want to be sure none of us accidentally misstates what He has said.

    LYL, LYS. DBSP. MUAH!

  4. Hi Megan, good morning and happy Thursday! First and foremost I want to thank you for being such an inspirational person. You don’t have to be positive and share it with the entire world, you could chose to just provide the nuggets of wisdom to those in your circle and for you kindness I am thankful. This message this morning especially touched my heart bc I am on a personal journey to be a happy and healthier me. I am definitely in a more reflective state at this point in regards to myself and those that are in my life. It hasn’t been an easy journey but then again the things in life that are most important are worth the struggle. You are an inspiration to me and I just wanted you to know that. Thanks for you messages that make me laugh, think, and smile. Have a great day!!!.

  7. So I read this, this morning and it sounded good. This was something that made me think for a little bit, then I put this away and got on with my day... This day was not the best, a lot going on but I took this in stride. So now as I am reflecting back on this day, I started thinking about IT'S purpose! Thank you, what started as a draining day turned inspirational from what I read this morning! Love you long love you strong!

  9. “Experience is a hard teacher because she gives the test first.....then the lesson afterwards” - unknown

This was really helpful to me today and I will come back and reread this on those days when my frustrations take my mind over...to help get some kind of relief and understanding. I'm a firm believer in learning from all of my friendships/encounters no matter if its a season or a lifetime. We have no control all we can do is adapt and become a better person to reach our highest potential possible. :) KeepLiving KeepLaughing....stay blessed *hugz* kklove
