Persistence

Don’t give up. We’ve heard the saying, “do it anyhow”… even when you don’t want to do something, if you know it’s something you should do… do it anyhow. Practice makes perfect, so perfectly practice. There will be things that come up to try and distract you from accomplishing your dreams. Notice it, recognize it, and tackle it – but keep going.

Life is a journey that persists on the perception of our minds. When we know the root of something, we can take it with a grain of salt, apply it in a positive way and forge towards the mark of the high calling. That high calling is our true-self, our true nature, that which we are called to be in the first place.

So don’t give up, because when you do, you’re giving up on You!

MUAH, happy Monday

  1. My daughter's vocal coach says, "Practice makes permanent. Perfect practice makes perfect." It makes sense, and it also fits with what you're saying. If practice makes permanent, practicing good fitness and health habits will make those things become a permanent part of your life. If you make perseverance a habit, it will become a permanent part of who you are. And that's a good thing!

  2. One of my favorite quotes is this: “I began to have an idea of my life, not as the slow shaping of achievement to fit my preconceived purposes, but as the gradual discovery and growth of a purpose which I did not know” Joanna Field (English psychologist, b.1900)

I became a mother at the young age of 18 (after my first semester of college) and it was the PERSISTENT, loving care of my child that made me who I am today. Not what I had planned, but who I was meant to be. I've led a full life, but the happiest times are the ones where I helped others lead a full life. I've learned to find value in simple things and how to find peace in the middle of chaos. You have the ear of many right now, use the time wisely and thanks for your encouraging words.
