I wonder if we can count how many times we’ve heard this - “Be humble there’s always someone better then you in the world.” Or “Not too much, what you can do someone can do better.” How many times have we been told this LIE! Yes, it is a lie. I would like to make a declaration on this beautiful Monday morning… “There is no one better then me, because I’m the ONLY ME.”
Some of us whose parents weren’t very conscious, have been beat over the head with this negative notion that we will never be the best, because there is always a “better” somewhere else. This idea has been the burden and the retardant to our potential… even to the point of being an excuse. (uh oh) Think about it, if you think you’ll never be the best, why try? Why put forth all that energy just to come in second or third? But I’m here to tell you that YOU ARE THE BEST, when you DO YOUR BEST. ”Remember that we are all a different Expression of LOVE (God), and only our unique individuality can translate that particular God-entity.” - MLM (Oh I’m talking good this morning).
So do You, Boo, do YOU. Because you are the best that it gets, when you are truly being yourself. Find out who you are, by focusing on WHAT YOU ARE.
MUAH… Let’s make this week a MAGICAL ONE!

You Gotta Trim the FAT
Some of us may already know this and some may not… All fat ain’t bad. The body actually needs some fat for energy. For example, when a person does not eat, they become very lethargic and drained, because they have no fuel (food). We can not live on fruits and veggies wholly, we also need carbohydrates and protein AND fat. But all fat ain’t good either. Some saturated fats, over processed fats, and chemically altered fats not only cause great weight gain, it can present great danger to your overall health.
Some people are there to help and some people have been over processed by life, negatively altered by their past, and saturated with simply being unnecessary. Some people provide nourishment and some are weighing you down mentally, emotionally, spiritually, and could be physically (if you eat when you’re stressed… think about it). Hence we trim the fat. Now trimming the fat is a very good thing, because you don’t trim it all, just what you don’t need… that excessive waste.
We must realize that our food (our lives) will not loose all flavor (our identity), just because we trim what we were told holds the seasoning (truth)… The meat is what we really need, all else is there for enjoyment.
So if you’re not enjoying your fat, TRIM IT!
MUAH! I love you :0)

Be Grateful for the Dirt
A Lotus flower (which I have tattooed on my arm) grows in mud… not just dirt that you can brush off, but nasty, slushy, stick to you skin until you wash it off, mud. The meaning of this beautiful Lotus in Buddhism is to understand the ongoing-ness of cause and effect AND to know, in simpler terms, you will become a flower even through the mud.
But it seems to me that the mud gets a bad rep. Well what do you mean Megan? I’m so glad that you asked. :0) See, mud is a nutrient, it is the soil, it is the first mothering to your roots. Mud baths can make your skin beautiful, mud can make a hut, mud is the ground work of human flesh (Remember Adam?)… so to bring it around, when we look at mud, the slushiness in our lives, think about what mud is helping us to become.
Respect even the mud in your life, it’s making you grow more rapidly!
Thanks O.C. Allen, III for an amazing Bible service last night.
MUAH BE A BLESSING TO SOMEONE TODAY!

Integrity
One of my favorite songs by Daryl Coley is entitled Integrity.
As I’ve been on this journey to become the fullest Me, the truest Expression of God (Expression is capitalized for a reason… think about it. WHEW), I realized that I have been entrenched with a-whole-lotta pride… and not the good kind. But because this was the cloth I was wrapped in since birth, I’ve had great struggles ridding myself of it and even recognizing its presence (still) in many areas of my life. On Sunday morning I had one of those A-HA moments. People were asked to stand who didn’t may their tithe, now that part wasn’t the issue, it was the next thing, “God I’m praying for their finances, etc…” my pride began roaring like a rabid lion. Then the words, “if there is any place that you should be honest, it’s in the House of God.” Well I stood my self right on up at that point, fighting this dragon of pride within. Thinking to myself, why do I have this much pride STILL!? What’s the problem?
Gently I said to myself, “You’re becoming You, it takes time to be this magnificent.” Surely but SURELY, I’m making changes based on the decision I’ve already made to be my fullest self – embracing all that I find with kindness, compassion, and love.
See I love myself, even the parts I’m changing. Why? Because I know those issues will get changed. I trust myself to be true to myself (Expression), and have faith that whenever I have to fight that lion of pride, I will always win until it is completely destroyed.
Today be completely true to yourself, regardless.
Hey, have a PERFECT day!

Get Accustomed to Heaven
Some believe that we’re living in hell now. Some believe that hell will come after the second advent of Christ, some don’t believe in hell at all. Well I believe in Heaven. I believe that there is a time and space, a transition of consciousness and science, where the mind shifts and within that shift is the gloriousness of LOVE, eternal LOVE.
It can be said that that transitional change is currently occurring. Presently the universe is off kilter transforming and galatically aligning itself for the re-arrival of God. I like to think so are we. That we are off kilter, aligning ourselves for the newness and greatness that is truly us… becoming accustomed to heaven.
See that’s what I want. I don’t want to be completely shocked out of my mind when I get to Heaven, I want to experience some of it now. I want to taste love, real love. I want to chuckle at the stars, embrace time, fly over my past, and converse with God. I want to see everyone’s smile even in grief. I want to bless my blessings, know my ancestors, touch my angels, and be fulfillingly full… NOW.
I’m not going to wait for that great “Gett’in Up Morning”, because I’m UP this morning and today is the day to start becoming accustomed to your greatness. Don’t settle for anything less then what you give. (so give more!)

Sometimes You have to Ride an ASS.
Needless to say, I am in-love (passionately) with my Bishop. Yep I said that. I will fight over him.(LOL) Now I see why women fall head over hells and act so ignorant behind a man of God.
When O.C. Allen III said “Sometimes you (Mary) have to ride an ass (donkey) to get to the place (Bethlehem) you need to be in order to birth your blessing (Jesus)”… I thought I was going to literally pass out on the floor. A prophetic word spoken with audacity moves my Spirit! I’m telling you.
Today consider this statement. Recognize the asses in your life and appreciate them, because they are the catalyst assisting you into your next phase of life and it more abundantly. “Literally your perception is more then half the battle… it can be the victory.” - MLM Once you see the asses in your life as victorious hurdles you will have a much better day… trust me.
I’m blessed just to be blessed. MUAH

The Fullest Expression of Myself
When I write in my blog I try to allow God to speak through me, for me, and to me. These blogs are not just a way to encourage others, but it is another form of expression of me. Last night while watching Barbra Walters Special on Oprah Winfrey (who is one of my favorite person’s of all time), she (OW) responded to a question with, “I’m seeking the fullest expression of myself”. I almost passed out! So simplistically profound! DEEP! I almost passed out because that verbiage is always on my lips – expression.
I am a firm believer that we (all) are an individual expression of God. Yes a lot of Christians don’t want to hear that and believe I’m headed in the 5%’ers direction… However I’m sure we all know I don’t care. :0) As I wrote last week, “I am a creation that creates”, we are much more then we may be too afraid to accept. Nevertheless we are still just that great.
I vow to continue seeking fullest expression of myself, accepting all that I see of myself, gracefully, passionately, and loving every single part of who/ what I am.
Have a blessed weekend Ya’ll! MUAH
